Since forming in 2011 through a random series of incidents, the Third Thought has been celebrating the randomness of life at venues including the Del Close Marathon, American Stage, Coconut's Comedy Club.The Third Thought brings something new and different to Tampa Bay as one of the region's only long-form improv groups. |

We have been asked back to American Stage (163 Third Street N, Downtown St. Pete) for the third time this year! We will be performing at Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay Best Theatre Company on December 18th at 8:00 p.m.

On Sunday, September 18th, long-form improv group The Third Thought will return to American Stage to perform in the Sunday Night Comedy Series presented by Ricky Wayne. The group performed at the venue previously in May, and will be performing a completely unique, completely unscripted show consisting of two half-hour improv sets.
Founded in 1977, American Stage’s mission is to create the most satisfying live theatre in the Tampa Bay area, accessible to all members of the community. American Stage has won Best Theatre Company in Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay Awards 12 years in a row, and by Tampa Bay Magazine’s Best of the Bay Awards eight years in a row.
